Location: Based in Shoreditch, London (preferred) or Colchester, with at least 2 days a week in the London office.

Salary: £35,000 plus EOT Bonus

We’re looking for an organised, proactive BTR Account Manager to join this client services team and lead a portfolio of Build-to-Rent (BTR) clients. In this role, you’ll be the main point of contact for your clients, managing projects from start to finish, building strong relationships, and helping deliver creative, effective marketing campaigns. You’ll also lead and develop a BTR Account Executive, ensuring the team runs smoothly and delivers great results.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage a portfolio of BTR clients, acting as their main contact and trusted advisor.
  • Lead and support a BTR Account Executive, helping them grow and perform.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams to deliver projects on time and on budget.
  • Write creative briefs, manage timelines, budgets, and project plans.
  • Oversee day-to-day work in the studio and coordinate with media, social, and design teams.
  • Research market trends, competitors, and audiences to inform strategies.
  • Support client lease-up and retention goals with creative campaigns and onsite activities.
  • Contribute to pitches and proposals to grow client accounts and win new business.
  • Attend client meetings, site visits, and events — travel, early starts, and some late finishes are part of the role.

Requirements:

  • Experience in account management, ideally in property, marketing, or an agency.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Confident communicator with great relationship-building skills.
  • Leadership experience or readiness to manage a small team.
  • Creative thinking, commercial awareness, and a proactive attitude.
  • Interest in the Build-to-Rent sector is a plus.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Good organisational skills to manage multiple projects on time and within budget.
