As a multi-channel retailer and now in our third decade on the high street, we are seeking Night Senior Warehouse Operatives to join our Distribution Centre.
Who are Cotton Traders? CT for short, we are a clothing retailer established in 1987 by England rugby captains and legends Fran Cotton and Steve Smith. Supported by a growing online and offline (catalogue) presence, we have 80 stores nationwide in England, Scotland and Wales and employ 800 people across the country. We have an ambitious 5-year plan to grow the business across all touch points and we can only do this with the best people around us.
What’s in the role and what are we looking for? Night Senior Warehouse Operatives are the heartbeat of the logistics industry and we are searching for the best right now! Due to continued growth, we urgently require Night Senior Warehouse Operators to work alongside our friendly and dedicated shift teams to pick, pack and distribute orders.

Traditionally, our Night Senior Warehouse Operatives are responsible for:
- Leading and motivating the team in area to maximise productivity whilst minimising costs
- Monitoring and coaching operatives in processes, initiatives and projects that affect productivity efficiency in team
- Ensuring area daily/weekly key performance indicators (KPI’s) are maintained and communicated accurately
- Supporting work practices and initiatives in order to improve efficiency
- Actively encouraging the meeting of business deadlines in area
- Positively communicating coaching and changes through formal and informal processes and procedures
- Reviewing individual performances in line with business targets
- Health and Safety compliance in accordance with the business policies

- Able to maintain open communication with all team members, peers and management
- Have a great attitude, who are keen and willing to learn
- Able to work as part of a team as well as unsupervised
- To demonstrate good standards of housekeeping along with an awareness of health and safety issues
- Reliable, hardworking and detail conscious
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Experience within a Warehouse (Desirable)
