*About the Role*
We are a friendly, fully private practice in the Centre of Cottingham. The Practice has been established for over 20 years and is now under new ownership. We provide a full range of treatments for our patients and strive to keep up to date with the latest technology using Intra-Oral scanning, CBCT and 3D printing.
As a Qualified Dental Nurse, you will play an important role in ensuring our patients receive the very best experience, from the moment they walk through our doors to the completion of their treatment.
*Your responsibilities will include:*
* Providing excellent chairside support to our dentists.
* Making patients feel comfortable, reassured and well cared for throughout their visit.
* Maintaining the highest standards of cross-infection control, cleanliness and clinical safety.
* Preparing surgeries, instruments and materials for a variety of dental treatments.
* Supporting patients with kindness, empathy and professionalism, particularly those who may feel anxious about dental treatment.
* Maintaining accurate patient records and following practice policies and procedures.
* Contributing to a positive, supportive team environment where patient care is always the priority.
We’re looking for someone who:
* Is a *qualified Dental Nurse* with a recognised dental nursing qualification.
* Holds current GDC registration.
* Has a warm, caring and approachable manner.
* Understands the importance of putting patients first at all times.
* Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Is organised, reliable, proactive and able to work well within a team.
* Takes pride in maintaining high clinical standards and delivering outstanding patient experiences.
* Is passionate about providing compassionate, individualised care.
* A radiography qualified nurse is desirable but not essential.
