Cotteswold Dairy, one of the UK’s leading independent family-owned dairies, is seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our Hereford team. This is a high-intensity, multi-drop milk delivery role delivering fresh dairy products direct to customers' doors. You’ll be the friendly face of our business on the doorstep, providing excellent customer service throughout your round.
The Role
As a Delivery Driver, you’ll operate on a set milk round, covering both rural countryside and urban areas. Using handheld technology, you’ll process orders, update customer accounts, and manage any payments. You’ll load your vehicle with accuracy, secure products for safe travel, and complete deliveries in line with agreed schedules. This is a physically active role involving night shifts, early mornings, and manual handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver milk and dairy products to doorstep customers on time and in full
- Operate as a milk roundsperson, covering both rural and town delivery routes
- Use handheld devices to record deliveries, customer orders, and payments
- Load and unload your delivery vehicle, ensuring all products are secured
- Follow all food hygiene and health regulations
