Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching across the Science curriculum at Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 if applicable)
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire and challenge students of all abilities
- Assess, monitor and track student progress, providing targeted feedback to support improvement
- Contribute to the development of an ambitious and knowledge-rich Science curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports excellent behaviour for learning
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and support departmental improvement
- Participate in wider school life, including enrichment, trips, and extracurricular activities
- Uphold the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students
