Key responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality lessons that engage, challenge and inspire learners
- Plan and teach a well-structured curriculum that meets the needs of all pupils
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress in line with academy expectations
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes excellent behaviour for learning
- Provide timely and effective feedback to support pupil progress
- Support pupils of all abilities, including those with SEND and those at risk of underachievement
- Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development and continuous improvement
- Participate in enrichment opportunities and wider school life
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and raise standards
- Fulfil pastoral responsibilities as a form tutor, supporting pupils’ personal development
