Are you passionate about pharma supply chain? Do you love problem solving? Do you want supply chain to be proactive rather than reactive?

I have a new role available with a fast-growing pharmaceutical company in Essex. An established UK company for decades, they focus on product development, licensing and commercialisation of products to the UK and international markets.

Why:

  • Autonomy to build and manage an E2E supply chain function
  • Highly collaborative & inclusive environment
  • Hybrid working (4 days onsite, 1 day remote per week)

You will be doing the usual things expected of a head of supply chain, such as driving continuous improvement of supply chain and supporting commercial growth of the business & logistics operations globally. However, there is lots of opportunity to put your stamp on the operation, changing supply chain to a “proactive” rather than “reactive” way of working.

What you need:

  • Experience in a fast-paced SME pharma (i.e. generics) or medical device environment
  • Proven people manager, with a track record of coaching/mentoring and improving staff
  • E2E supply chain management experience (demand, supply, SIOP & logistics are the key workstreams – you need experience with all of these)
  • CDMO/CMO management experience (with APAC-based suppliers, if possible)

PLEASE NOTE: You need to have a valid UK right to work, and be available to work onsite in Essex 4 days per week to be considered.
