Our company, Cotswold Talent Solutions, are recruiting on behalf of our client for several Bindery Operatives to join their busy manufacturing facility based in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business that specialises in high-quality print and finishing services. No previous bindery experience is required as full training will be provided. We are looking for reliable, enthusiastic individuals with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and a willingness to learn new skills. Immediate interviews are available, with successful candidates able to start as soon as possible.
Pay Rates and Shifts:
- £12.71 per hour (starting rate)
- Double Day Shift (Rotating Weekly): 6:00am - 2:00pm, 2:00pm - 10:00pm Monday to Friday
The Role:
- Operating a range of bindery and finishing machinery (full training provided)
- Folding, stitching, binding and trimming printed materials
- Packing finished products ready for dispatch
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet customer specifications
- Setting up materials and assisting with machine changeovers
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Following production schedules to meet deadlines
- Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets
- Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures
Requirements:
- No previous experience required - full training provided
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Able to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Good communication skills
