Our company, Cotswold Talent Solutions, are recruiting for a Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Operative on behalf of our client based in Cricklade.

Immediate Start Available

Pay & Benefits:

  • Monday - Friday, 7am-3pm

The Role:

  • Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse
  • Manage materials handling tasks with precision and care
  • Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely dispatch
  • Conduct basic equipment repairs and maintenance checks on forklifts and other machinery
  • Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records
  • Perform load & unload activities efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
  • Support the organisation of stock in storage areas for easy access and safety compliance
  • Use basic maths skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during operations

Experience:

  • Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred
  • Strong materials handling skills with a focus on safety and efficiency
  • Previous experience in shipping & receiving roles is desirable
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently over long shifts
  • Basic math skills for inventory management and documentation purposes
  • Warehouse experience demonstrating organisational skills and attention to detail
