Our company, Cotswold Talent Solutions, are recruiting for a Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Operative on behalf of our client based in Cricklade.

The Role:
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse
- Manage materials handling tasks with precision and care
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely dispatch
- Conduct basic equipment repairs and maintenance checks on forklifts and other machinery
- Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records
- Perform load & unload activities efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Support the organisation of stock in storage areas for easy access and safety compliance
- Use basic maths skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during operations
Experience:
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred
- Strong materials handling skills with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Previous experience in shipping & receiving roles is desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently over long shifts
- Basic math skills for inventory management and documentation purposes
- Warehouse experience demonstrating organisational skills and attention to detail
