Our company, Cotswold Talent Solutions, are urgently recruiting multiple Production Paint Sprayers to join our fantastic client in West Swindon!
The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint using spray guns and various other methods, as well as varnish and other finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail. Previous experience is advantageous; however, exposure to the world of paint and working with paint as a hobby is also an excellent starting point.
This role requires a blend of creativity and technical skills, as well as the ability to work in a production and warehouse environment. This is a fantastic position, which is offering an immediate start on an ongoing basis and can lead to a permanent position after a successful trial period! This is a day shift role, working 05.30am - 14.30pm (Monday to Friday).

Hours and pay:
- Monday to Friday 05.30am- 14.00 pm
- Starting hourly rate of £14.70 per hour
- £19.60 per hour (overtime rate) for any hours worked over 40
Duties:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Mix and match paints to achieve desired colours and finishes.
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment while ensuring even coverage.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, including power tools and hand tools.
- Assemble components as needed for painting projects.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.

- Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to painting tasks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation and maintenance.
