Our company, Cotswold Talent Solutions, are urgently recruiting a Production Paint Sprayer to join our client in West Swindon.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail. Previous experience is advantageous, however, exposure to the world of paint and working with paint as a hobby is also an excellent starting point.
This role requires a blend of creativity and technical skills, as well as the ability to work in a production and warehouse environment.
This is a fantastic position, which is offering an immediate start on an ongoing basis and can lead to a permanent position after a successful trial period!
This is a day shift role, working 05.30am – 14.00pm (Monday to Friday)

Hours and pay:

- £17.16 per hour (overtime rate)
Duties:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Mix and match paints to achieve desired colours and finishes.
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment while ensuring even coverage.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, including power tools and hand tools.
- Assemble components as needed for painting projects.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.
Skills:
- Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to painting tasks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation and maintenance.
- Ability to work efficiently in a warehouse setting while managing multiple tasks.
