Our company, Cotswold Talent Solutions are currently recruiting for a Forklift Truck Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our clients busy yard operation based in Royal Wootton Bassett on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for an experienced forklift driver looking for stable, full-time hours in a hands-on, outdoor role. This role is offering an immediate start, and the potential for a permanent position after a successful trial period.
Pay & Benefits
- £26,251 per year as starting salary
- Set day shift Monday to Friday working 08:30am - 16:30pm
- No weekend working
- 28 days paid annual leave
- Ongoing support from our team
- This role is a direct permanent placement
The Role:
As a Forklift Driver/Warehouse Operative, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Operating a Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Truck safely and efficiently for yard duties
- This role is a 50/50 split between FLT and Warehouse operational duties
- Moving stock and materials around the yard
- Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries
- Supporting goods in and goods out processes
- Ensuring stock is stored correctly and safely
- Carrying out basic daily vehicle checks on the forklift
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe yard environment
- Working collaboratively with the warehouse and yard team
- Following all health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Valid Forklift Licence (Counterbalance & Reach Truck)
- Previous experience in an industrial/Warehousing environment
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious
