What You’ll Be Doing
- Processing supplier invoices and credit notes, ensuring correct coding and authorisation
- Processing staff expense claims in line with company expense policy
- Allocating and processing payments in accordance with agreed supplier terms
- Uploading and processing large invoices into the accounting system
- Reconciling supplier accounts, investigating discrepancies and debit items
- Reviewing Goods and Non-Goods items on hold, including GRNI
- Preparing and submitting monthly VAT and Intrastat returns accurately and on time
- Responding to supplier queries promptly and professionally
- Supporting cash collection and reconciliation across multiple payment types
- Ensuring cash is accurately allocated and investigating variances where required
- Responding to cash and till-related queries in a timely manner

- Has a solid understanding of Accounts Payable and Treasury/Accounts Receivable processes
- Is highly accurate, with strong attention to detail
- Is confident using Excel and Outlook in a finance environment
- Takes a proactive, organised approach to managing tasks and deadlines
- Communicates effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Builds strong working relationships through collaboration
- Acts with integrity and maintains confidentiality at all times
