We are seeking a Head of Activities to lead, develop and deliver an engaging programme of activities and excursions for our international students, many of whom are young learners on short term study programmes in Cirencester. This is a role suited to someone who can both confidently lead an activity but has the creativity to contribute new ideas and the leadership skills to manage a small team of activity leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee a diverse, inclusive and dynamic activities programme to reflect the cultural benefits of studying in the Cotswolds.
- Provide strong leadership to the activities team, setting clear goals and maintaining high performance.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team culture.
- Manage planning, scheduling, and resource allocation effectively.
- Monitor and evaluate programme success, making improvements where needed.
- Ensure all activities are delivered safely and in line with relevant policies.
- Ensure all safeguarding responsibilities are adhered to by the activities team.
- One weekend per month management cover - to include emergency phone cover (a supplement of £85 is paid for weekend phone cover), home stay allocations and group departures.
