As we scale up our operations, we're looking for a proactive and organised Operations Coordinator to be the engine room of our day-to-day delivery. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build a career in one of the most important and dynamic sectors of the modern economy. You'll work closely with our installations, customer, and compliance teams — gaining broad experience from your first day.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Serve as a first point of contact for customers — handling inbound enquiries via phone and email with care and professionalism
- Manage and track applications for government-funded schemes, ensuring all documentation is accurate and submitted on time
- Coordinate installation scheduling between customers, engineers, and suppliers — keeping all parties informed and timelines on track
- Maintain and update CRM system with current job status, notes, and documents
- Prepare, process, and file compliance paperwork in line with MCS, Ofgem, and funder requirements
- Liaise with local authorities, housing associations, and third‑party organisations as required for funded project eligibility and sign‑off
- Support the wider team with general administrative tasks, reporting, and project coordination as the business grows
- Flag issues or delays proactively and help develop solutions — we value people who take ownership
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicator — written and verbal
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines
- Experience in admin, customer service, or coordination (any sector welcome)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- A can‑do attitude and genuine interest in sustainability
NICE TO HAVE
- Familiarity with funded energy schemes (ECO4, BUS, etc.)
- Experience with CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce)
- Knowledge of MCS or Ofgem compliance processes
- Prior experience in a fast‑paced, growing SME
