About the Role
We are seeking an organised and proactive Residential Block Administrator to join our growing property management team based in Southgate. The role would suit someone with previous administration experience within residential block management, or wider property administration, who is looking to further develop their career within the residential leasehold sector. The successful candidate will support the Property Management team with the day-to-day administration of a portfolio of residential developments and will be expected to deal professionally with leaseholders, directors, contractors and solicitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support to Property Managers across a residential portfolio
- Handling incoming telephone calls, emails and correspondence
- Liaising with leaseholders, directors, contractors and solicitors
- Raising maintenance works orders and monitoring progress
- Obtaining contractor quotations and arranging repairs
- Assisting with Section 20 consultation administration
- Assisting in the preparation and issuing general service charge and management correspondence
- Assisting with AGM and Directors’ meeting administration
- Preparing meeting packs and issuing notices where required
- Maintaining property records, compliance documentation and internal systems
- Monitoring shared inboxes and ensuring enquiries are dealt with promptly
- Assisting with insurance claims administration
- Supporting with conveyancing enquiries and LPE1 administration
- General office and administrative duties as required
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Previous administration experience within residential block management or property
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- A professional and confident telephone manner
- Good attention to detail
- The ability to prioritise workload and work efficiently within a busy office environment
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Desirable
- Experience dealing with leaseholders and Resident Management Companies (RMCs)
- An understanding of residential leasehold property management
- Experience assisting with AGM administration and meeting minutes
- Experience using block management software
