Senior Recruitment Consultant (Building Engineering)
North London - N14 (Southgate) – Up to £35,000 basic salary + uncapped monthly commission (up to 25%) plus benefits.

We are looking for a talented Recruitment Consultant to join our Engineering & Construction team.
Cotleigh has an established client base across the Structural & Civil Engineering, Building Services, BIM and Renewable Energy sectors, providing an excellent platform to build a successful desk.
This is a great opportunity to become a key member of the team, with a constant pipeline of exciting projects to work on and the chance to manage a diverse range of client relationships.
Requirements
- Previous recruitment experience within Building Engineering, Design or Construction would be advantageous; however, we are happy to train a proven permanent recruiter from another sector.
- Strong account management and permanent recruitment experience across mid to senior‑level appointments.
- Confident using Linked In Recruiter, job boards and social media to source candidates and produce engaging marketing content.
- Strong business development and client relationship management skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- A team player who enjoys working collaboratively in a friendly and professional environment.
We work from a very nice courtyard office in Southgate, North London, offering a friendly, professional, and open‑plan working environment, with regular social events and team nights out.
The office is easily accessible via the Underground and Overground, with on‑site parking also available.
We offer a market‑leading commission structure, paying up to 25% commission monthly, alongside genuine career progression, flexible working arrangements, and the opportunity to build a highly successful desk.
