Our client is a well-established luxury interiors business specialising in bespoke marble and natural stone fabrication for high-end residential and commercial projects. They are seeking a Management Accountant to take ownership of day-to-day financial operations and support senior management with accurate reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of purchase and sales ledger, including PO approvals, invoicing, reconciliations, and payments.
- Oversee month-end processes, including journals, P&L, cash flow, and VAT submissions.
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and intercompany accounts across multiple entities.
- Complete CIS and PAYE submissions and maintain compliance with HMRC deadlines.
- Support billing and project valuation processes, ensuring accuracy across production and installation schedules.
- Assist with payroll processing, timesheets, and overtime approvals.
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Drive process improvements across accounting systems and internal controls.
About You:
- Proven experience in a Management Accountant or Senior Assistant Accountant role.
- Strong understanding of CIS, VAT, and management accounting principles.
- Proficient in Sage and Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills.
- Experience within manufacturing, construction, or interiors sectors preferred.
- Part-qualified or qualified by experience (CIMA/ACCA/AAT).
