We are working with an award-winning, multidisciplinary structural and civil engineering consultancy known for its close collaboration with architects to deliver intelligent, well-designed buildings.
They are seeking a Revit / CAD Technician with circa 1–3 years’ experience, who has some working ability in Revit and AutoCAD and is keen to continue developing their technical skillset while working on live projects. Candidates should either hold, or be working towards, an HNC/HND or BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering.
The Role
You will work closely with senior technicians and engineers, supporting the delivery of structural and civil engineering designs across a range of projects. Training and development support (including Revit training) will be provided to help you progress.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing project deliverables such as drawings, models, and sketches under guidance
- Supporting engineers with the development of structural designs in line with project briefs
- Preparing BIM and CAD outputs to a high technical and presentation standard
- Coordinating information with external consultants and design teams
- Attending internal meetings and contributing to project delivery discussions
- Assisting with reports, specifications, and technical documentation
- Attending site visits and assisting with surveys as part of training and development
About You
- 1–3 years’ experience in a structural or civil engineering environment
- Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD
- Genuine interest in building structures and engineering design
- Appreciation of how engineering solutions are developed within a design brief
- Basic understanding of materials, systems, and construction techniques
- Proactive, curious, and keen to build a long-term career in consultancy
- Comfortable working collaboratively within a design-led studio environment
