About Cotham School’s BAME Strategy Group
Cotham School’s BAME Strategy Group is dedicated to promoting equality and inclusion within the educational environment. Our primary focus is on addressing the unique challenges faced by Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (BAME) students and staff. We believe that diversity enriches the learning experience and fosters a more vibrant school community.
Our group works collaboratively with students, parents, and educators to develop strategies that enhance representation and support for BAME individuals. We aim to create an inclusive atmosphere where every voice is heard and valued. Through various initiatives, we strive to raise awareness about cultural differences and promote understanding among all members of the school community.
- Core Activities:
- Organising workshops and training sessions focused on cultural competency.
- Implementing mentorship programs for BAME students.
