Join our independent, family-run travel clinic based within Cotham Pharmacy. We are looking for a confident, patient-focused Travel Clinic Nurse to help run and grow a busy clinic delivering safe, high-quality travel health care.

The role

You will take a lead in the day-to-day running of the travel clinic, delivering thorough consultations and ensuring clients receive clear, evidence-based advice and the right protection for their trip.

You will be responsible for:

  • Overall management of the travel clinic
  • Delivering daily travel consultations including:
    • comprehensive risk assessments
    • travel health advice
    • administering vaccinations
    • supplying malaria prophylaxis and other travel-related medicines (as appropriate)
  • Stock management and maintaining vaccine/medicine supplies
  • Accurate record keeping, bookings and clinic administration
  • Providing a consistently high standard of customer service
  • Potential to provide other services e.g. Weight loss, Ear health clinic

About you (essential)

  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN
  • Strong interest in Travel Health
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload
  • Willing to work some weekends (rota-based flexibility)
  • Must be UK-based

Desirable:

  • Foundation/Diploma in Travel Medicine (helpful, not essential)

This is a part-time role:

  • Wednesday: 9am - 6pm
  • Thursday: 9am - 6pm
  • Saturday: 9am - 1pm (alternate)

Training & progression

We will support you with further training and accreditation required for the role. There is also scope to develop into other private health services once you are established.
