A great opportunity for an established Managing Quantity Surveyor to join a Major contractor in the Education sector. The company has an enviable workload in the sector, with projects ranging from £20m - £100m in value.

Requirements

  • Experience managing teams delivering new and refurbishment/extension projects in the South London and Kent regions.
  • Responsible for advising on financial feasibility on projects at early stages.
  • Assessing returns from subcontractors and awarding work packages.
  • Monitoring and measuring actual expenditure against budgeted project expenditure through CVR reporting.
  • Checking, collating information from your team and producing accurate financial reports.

This is a great role for you if you have experience in working on two-stage bids, prior recent relevant experience in the sector in a tier one contracting environment, and the confidence and drive in dealing with the clients' team, subcontractors, and external stakeholders. It's also important that you enjoy motivating and mentoring your team and junior members of staff.
