A great opportunity for an established Managing Quantity Surveyor to join a Major contractor in the Education sector. The company has an enviable workload in the sector, with projects ranging from £20m - £100m in value.
Requirements
- We are urgently seeking a Managing QS, with experience managing teams delivering new and refurbishment/extension projects in the South London and Kent regions.
- You will be responsible for advising on financial feasibility on projects at early stages.
- Assessing returns from subcontractors and awarding work packages.
- Monitoring and measuring actual expenditure against budgeted project expenditure through CVR reporting.
- Checking, collating information from your team and producing accurate financial reports.
- This is a great role for you if you have experience in working on two-stage bids, prior recent relevant experience in the sector in a tier One contracting environment and the confidence and drive in dealing with the clients' team, subcontractors and external stakeholders.
- It’s also important that you enjoy motivating and mentoring your team and junior members of staff.
