Time to step up to the next level? This tier one contractor with a high growth plan are recruiting for a key member of the work winning team. We are looking for an Estimator to join our Building team based in London.
Location: London
Hours: 40 hours per week
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
What will you be responsible for?
- Appraising and evaluating client tender requirements and specifications
- Producing tender stage bills of quantities and pricing labour, plant, and material rates
- Managing tender information and subcontract trade package enquiries
- Providing early-stage project cost plans and value engineering options
- Communicating and handing over estimates to project teams
What are we looking for?
- Strong communication skills and experience working with multidisciplinary teams and supply chains
- Proficient in computerised estimating and take-off software, with solid general IT skills
- Industry-recognised construction-related qualifications and previous experience in a similar role
- A Full Driving Licence is required (does not need to be a UK licence)

- Diverse and clear communication skills with experience of effective communication with multidisciplinary design teams, client teams, sub-contractors, and the wider supply chain

- Strong time management/ prioritisation skills
- Ability to self-motivate and work to deadlines
- Works well under pressure
- Competence in computerised estimating and take-off software and general IT skills
- Industry recognised construction related qualifications
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Drive and enthusiasm to succeed and improve
