This full-time, on-site Sous Chef position offers opportunities for career growth.

The role involves leading a kitchen team, working closely with the Head Chef, and contributing to a menu that emphasises flavour, provenance and seasonality within a modern French food context.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the kitchen team, reporting to the Head Chef, to deliver high-quality dishes and maintain a safe and efficient kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to execute a menu packed with flavour and seasonal ingredients while balancing indulgent French classics with lighter options.
  • Ensure the kitchen is well-organised and functioning, providing the team with the resources they need to perform effectively across shifts.
  • Maintain standards for cleanliness, safety, and overall kitchen condition in line with company expectations.
  • Assist with managing staff during shifts and contributing to a positive, productive work culture.

Requirements

  • Organised and able to lead a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Confidence to supervise and support the Head Chef and general manager as required.
  • Willingness to work on-site as part of a full-time role.
  • Experience or strong exposure to a menu focused on flavour, provenance and seasonality is preferred.
