The Role
As Head of Marketing, you'll lead the growth of Côte Brasserie, reporting directly to the Group Marketing Director. You'll be the custodian of one of the UK's most loved restaurant brands, shaping how guests think, feel and engage with Côte at every stage of their journey, from the propositions we create to the stories we tell and the reasons they choose to return. You'll be responsible for growing both brand equity and commercial performance across every touchpoint - from our restaurants to Côte at Home, Côte Uncorked, delivery, digital experiences and future routes to market. This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious marketer who believes the strongest brands are built through brilliant ideas, exceptional customer experiences and commercial thinking.
What You'll Be Doing
- Brand + Commercial Leadership
- Champion the long-term health and growth of the Côte brand, ensuring every initiative strengthens its distinctiveness, relevance and emotional connection with customers.
- Lead the development and delivery of integrated annual marketing and trading plans that balance brand building with commercial performance, recruiting new guests and increasing lifetime value.
- Use customer insight, market trends and cultural opportunities to keep the brand fresh, relevant and differentiated.
- Partner with our creative team to develop and protect a distinct visual identity, build winning campaigns that drive brand love and recognition.
- Monitor performance, identify opportunities and continuously optimise activity to maximise return on investment.
- Proposition Development
- Partner with our Food & Beverage teams to develop compelling food, drink and menu propositions that excite customers, reflect the Côte brand and create compelling reasons to visit.
- Shape the development of our ecommerce propositions, including Côte at Home and Côte Uncorked, ensuring they continue to evolve in line with customer needs and commercial opportunities.
- Identify and develop new routes to market that expand the Côte brand ecosystem and unlock future growth opportunities.
- Customer Experience & Digital
- Partner with our digital team to create seamless customer journeys from first interaction through to repeat purchase and advocacy.
- Help shape our CRM strategy, grow our loyalty platform and strengthen customer retention through relevant, personalised communications.
- Collaborate with performance marketing specialists to recruit new audiences while ensuring our digital experience reflects the quality and personality of the Côte brand.
- Champion exceptional customer experiences across every touchpoint, from website and ecommerce journeys to in-brasserie experiences and post-visit communications.
- Integrated Marketing
- Lead the development of integrated marketing communications that bring the Côte brand to life across every customer touchpoint, from campaign creative and PR to social media, restaurant menus, digital journeys and in-brasserie experiences.
- Own the customer communication journey across both print and digital channels, ensuring every touchpoint is consistent, inspiring and commercially effective.
- Work collaboratively with our creative, social and PR teams to develop standout campaigns that capture attention, build brand fame and inspire customers to choose Côte.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a true marketing generalist. Someone equally passionate about building brands, developing propositions, driving commercial performance and creating exceptional customer experiences.
You'll likely have:
- Significant experience leading integrated marketing within hospitality, retail or another consumer-facing brand.
- A broad understanding of brand, digital, CRM, social, PR, customer experience and commercial trading, with the ability to bring specialist teams together around a shared vision.
- Strong commercial acumen and the confidence to balance long-term brand building with immediate trading priorities.
