About this role:
We are looking for a proactive, driven and commercially minded UK Business Development Manager to join our growing Sales team. Reporting to the Head of Sales & Key Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong partnerships and strengthening Cosy’s presence across the education market. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on building relationships, spotting opportunities, and turning ambition into results.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Be our Brand Ambassador: Spread the "Cosy" magic! You’ll shout from the rooftops about our sustainable ethos and products to schools and nurseries.
- Build an Inner Circle: You won’t just "sell"—you’ll build meaningful partnerships with Multi-Academy Trusts and schools.
- Hunt for Spark: Keep your ear to the ground for new opportunities and turn "maybe" into "yes!"
- Be the Expert: Use your industry brain to help customers find the perfect solutions for their unique settings.
- Nurture Connections: We’re in it for the long haul. You’ll build relationships so strong our customers wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.
- Keep it Organised: High-five the CRM! You’ll keep our data as tidy as a well-organised classroom.
- The Ultimate Teammate: You’ll collaborate with our internal crew to make sure every customer leaves with a smile.
Are You the One?
- A Natural Chatterbox: You’re a pro communicator who can charm via email or in person.
- People-Powered: You’re outgoing, professional, and genuinely love meeting new people.
- The "Win-Win" Negotiator: You love the thrill of the chase and closing a deal, but you do it with a commercial "big picture" mind.
- Self-Starter with a Side of Team Spirit: You’re happy flying solo on the road but love a good brainstorm with the team.
- Ready to Roam: You’ve got a full UK driving license and a playlist ready for trips across the country.
- The Experience: You know the education world (or business development) and are ready to hit the ground running.
Why Join Us?
You’ll join a supportive team where your work has a direct, visible impact every day. We offer structured support to help you grow your career, clear scope so you know exactly how to succeed, and a professional environment that actually remembers to have fun.
The Good Stuff (Perks!)
We believe that happy employees change the world. Here’s how we look after you:
- Celebrate You: Take your Birthday off, completely paid!
- Give Back: Paid volunteering days for causes close to your heart.
- Level Up: Training and development tailored specifically to your dreams.
- Green Commute: Free on-site parking with EV charging.
- Stay Well: Full support via our Employee Assistance Programme.
- Have Fun: Regular social events to let your hair down with the team.
- Furry friends: Well behaved fur friends that go woof may accompany you in our Cosy office.
- Serious Relaxation: We take holidays very seriously. You can buy a week's extra annual leave if you need more sun! Plus, loyalty pays off—once you reach 2 years, you accrue 1 extra day per year (up to 30 days total).

- Age Friendly Employer: We welcome candidates of all ages and career stages. Experience comes in many forms, and we value the diverse perspectives that different generations bring to our team.
