Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in domestic (and commercial a plus) cleaning and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. As a Cleaning Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clientsβ properties are clean, safe, and welcoming for all occupants.
We provide training and an onboarding process. We offer career progression to senior cleaner as well as supervisor and management positions.
Please note: applicant must have a car and full driving license to get to different jobs.
Location: We are expanding in and around Daventry initially.
Contract: Employment (part to full time) or Zero hours flexible with minimum hours guaranteed or employment. Pay: sole trader or employee.
Hours: Ideally you can start part time (15-20 hours) to start with, as we build up work, quite quickly to an agreed level of 25-35 hours per week or flexitime based on your preferences.
Possible start immediately or February.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of client properties including kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, and bedrooms.
- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment to ensure effective sanitation and hygiene.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure consistency in service delivery.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines while performing cleaning duties.
- Drive between jobs and perhaps drive other technicians or manager around.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in domestic or commercial cleaning is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and clients professionally.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is an advantage.
