Job Description
As a CNC Grinder, you will produce high-precision crankshafts, camshafts and other critical engine components, working to exacting standards and micron-level tolerances. You will be responsible for setting and operating a range of CNC and manual grinding machines, ensuring every component meets our uncompromising quality standards.
Working within a highly skilled manufacturing team, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and operational excellence.
The Role

Set and operate CNC and manual: cylindrical and surface grinders.

Perform quality control checks using gauges, perthometer and Adcole equipment.

Manufacture components efficiently and cost-effectively, adhering to company standards and procedures.

Maintain high level of communication with the Team and report operational issues promptly.

Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting enhancements to methods, processes, and tooling.

Consider the health, safety, environmental and energy impacts of all activities.

Support the Company’s compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 by adhering to company policies and best practice.
Candidate Profile

Experience as a CNC Grinder, preferably within the automotive or aerospace sectors.

Junker and Kellenberger experience preferable but not essential

Proven ability to read, interpret, and communicate technical drawings and information.

Knowledge in work holding methods, wheel mounting and dressing is preferable.

Ability to problem solve effectively and demonstrate a forward-thinking mindset.
