We are looking for a Graduate Production/Manufacturing Engineer to join our high-performance Manufacturing Team, producing precision components in a fast-paced, advanced engineering environment. Our operations span two advanced manufacturing facilities in Northampton, featuring 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machines, mill-turns, lathes and grinders supported by automation for complex, high-precision production. With internal design, build, and test, all processes are fully integrated through Siemens NX and Teamcenter, ensuring seamless collaboration from concept to completion. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn from highly skilled engineers while gaining hands-on experience across the full manufacturing lifecycle.

The Role

  • Develop & optimise multi-axis CNC programs using CAM.
  • Design and implement production fixturing using CAD.
  • Take ownership of manufacturing processes from concept to production.
  • Support new product introduction, tooling, and process development.
  • Support shopfloor staff, driving continuous improvement.
  • Estimate production times and costs, managing BOMs.
  • Consider the health and safety, environmental and energy impact of all activities.
  • Support the Company’s compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 by following company policy and best practice.

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline (2:1 or above).
  • Experience using 3D CAD software.
  • Understanding of 2D engineering drawings and GD&T.
  • Basic knowledge of CAM systems (experience advantageous).
  • Understanding of internal combustion engine principles.
  • Relevant work experience in automotive, motorsport, or manufacturing environments.
  • Practical, hands-on problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage your own workload.
  • A proactive attitude towards learning and development.
  • Passion for solving complex engineering challenges.
