As a key member of our manufacturing operation, you will be responsible for producing high‑precision crankshafts, camshafts, and various other engine components for leading super and hyper‑car manufacturers.

The Role

  • Set up, operate, and monitor multiple CNC machines ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance.
  • Read, interpret, and edit CNC programs, identifying and correcting errors in NC code to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Perform quality control checks using various measurement tools and inspect machinery, tooling, and equipment to maintain product standards.
  • Manufacture components efficiently and cost‑effectively, adhering to company standards and procedures.
  • Maintain a high level of communication with the Team and report operational issues promptly.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting enhancements to methods, processes, and tooling.
  • Consider the health and safety, environmental, and energy impact of all activities.
  • Support the Company’s compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 by following company policy and best practice.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience as a CNC Setter Operator, preferably within the automotive or aerospace sectors.
  • Mill Turn experience preferable but not essential.
  • Proven ability to read, interpret, and communicate technical drawings and information.
  • Competence in using tool‑setting equipment.
  • Ability to problem‑solve effectively and demonstrate a forward‑thinking mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
