As a key member of our manufacturing operation, you will be responsible for producing high-precision crankshafts, camshafts, and various other engine components for leading super and hyper car manufacturers.

The Role

  • Set and operate CNC and manual: cylindrical and surface grinders.
  • Perform quality control checks using gauges, perthometer and Adcole equipment.
  • Manufacture components efficiently and cost-effectively, adhering to company standards and procedures.
  • Maintain high level of communication with the Team and report operational issues promptly.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting enhancements to methods, processes, and tooling.
  • Consider the health and safety, environmental and energy impact of all activities.
  • Support the Company’s compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 by following company policy and best practice.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience as a CNC Grinder, preferably within the automotive or aerospace sectors.
  • Junker and Kellenberger experience preferable but not essential.
  • Proven ability to read, interpret, and communicate technical drawings and information.
  • Knowledge in work holding methods, wheel mounting and dressing is preferable.
  • Ability to problem solve effectively and demonstrate a forward-thinking mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Working Hours

  • Week 1 Monday - Thursday: 06:00 to 14:00 Friday - 06:00 to 13:00
  • Week 2 Monday - Thursday: 14:00 to 22:00 Friday - 13:00 to 20:00
