Job Description: An exciting opportunity has arisen to support our Advanced Manufacturing Centre as Metrologist Lead, based in Northampton. Reporting to the Manufacturing Quality Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of CMM Operators, Programmers and Hard Gauge Technicians to write, develop and prove out measurement programmes. The Role: Leading onsite metrology investigations and supporting internal and external quality concerns as appropriate. Completing internal measuring requests and reports. Suggesting and supporting corrective actions and measures all with the aim of improved product accuracy and compliance. Providing support during NPI launch activities and conducting first and last article inspections, initial sample inspection reports and control plans. Maintain excellent levels of housekeeping. Ensure conformity to standards, production techniques and conformance to Cosworths Quality Management System Consider the health and safety, environmental and energy impact of all activities. Support the Companys compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 by following company policy and best practice.
