We are seeking a Production/Manufacturing Engineer to join our high-performance Manufacturing Team, delivering precision components in a fast-paced environment. Our operations span two advanced manufacturing facilities in Northampton, featuring 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC machines, mill-turns, lathes and grinders supported by automation for complex, high-precision production. With internal design, build, and test, all processes are fully integrated through Siemens NX and Teamcenter, ensuring seamless collaboration from concept to completion.

The Role:

  • Develop & optimise multi-axis CNC programs using CAM.
  • Design and implement production fixturing.
  • Take ownership of manufacturing processes from concept to production.
  • Support new product introduction, tooling, and process development.
  • Support shopfloor staff, driving continuous improvement.
  • Estimate production times and costs, managing BOMs.
  • Consider the health and safety, environmental and energy impact of all activities.
  • Support the Company’s compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 by following company policy and best practice.

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong CAM programming experience (ideally Siemens NX).
  • Background in automotive, motorsport, aerospace or precision engineering.
  • Previous experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, CAM Programmer, or Production Engineer.
  • Experience in fixture design.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T.
  • Apprentice-trained (HNC, HND or Bachelor’s degree).
  • Hands-on problem solver, comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamcenter, Vericut, or SAP experience is a plus.
