Coster is a long-established name in the Aerosol and Luxury packaging industry with a proud legacy and reputation for manufacturing excellence and quality. \n Coster has been built on a platform of industrial and technical excellence and with high levels of automation and data exchange in its manufacturing technologies. \n Our Purpose \n \"Deliver innovative and sustainable dispensing solutions for people's everyday needs\" \n Our Vision \n \"To be responsible partners helping brands make the best products through our design and manufacturing excellence\" \n We are seeking to hire an experienced Injection Moulder to complement our expanding global business in this FMCG sector based at our Barlborough site. n About the role: \n \n Operation of Injection Moulding machines (Engel and Demag) and Actuator assembly production lines working on a rotational basis. \n Perform quality control tasks according to cycle of control to ensure products conform to customer specifications taking full responsibility for accurate and timely checks. \n Perform competent and comprehensive preventative and technical maintenance of production lines including cleaning and lubrication of equipment and systems. \n Breakdown repairs and reactive maintenance of automated assembly lines as well as packaging and palletisation equipment \n Installation of new equipment/machinery and modification of existing equipment when required. \n Operation and maintenance of material conveyance system (Motan) \n Operation of chiller systems \n Undertaking troubleshooting and problem solving to tightly controlled and monitored standards with the ability to accurately document changes whilst adhering to quality standards. \n Continuous improvement (Kaizen System) - Design, Develop and implementation of ideas. \n Being an ambassador for safe working practices and the business's clean as you go policy. \n \n Do you have: \n \n An industry recognised injection moulding qualification \n Mechanical and electrical experience advantageous \n Pneumatic maintenance experience \n Ability to read technical drawings and manuals. \n Strong awareness of Health and Safety requirements \n Awareness of quality and hygiene standards and their relevance in manufacturing \n Ability to work unsupervised outside office hours in a responsible and safe manner in the company's best interests. \n Analytical and computer skills \n Willingness to develop personal skills and abilities in line with the company's route to progression. \n The desire to lead by example \n Flexibility to provide additional cover for holidays, absence, training etc \n Be able to handle boxes of components and pallets up to 10kg in weight and in line with HSE guidelines on manual handling. \n \n Benefits \n Practical \n \n £17.60 per hour/£36,836 per annum \n Company Pension: up to 7% company contribution \n Life Assurance benefit up to the age of 67 \n Holidays: 23 days (this includes including bank holidays) \n Free onsite parking \n Free EV Charging \n Shift Pattern: 24/7 rotation - 2 x 6am to 6pm followed by 2 x 6pm to 6am \n Laundered uniform \n \n Wellbeing \n \n Health Care Cash Plan with Westfield Health \n Hot and cold drinks and fruit provided. \n BHN Extras Salary Sacrifice scheme \n \n Culture \n \n Training and Development budget \n Company Events \n Recognition budget \n Seasonal gifts \n \n Note: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted, and we aim to do this within 7 working days. \We value diversity and encourage applications from qualified candidates from all backgrounds.
