Coster UK is a multinational organisation that manufactures and supplies packaging components to the Aerosol and Luxury Packaging industry. Coster has a proud legacy and reputation for manufacturing excellence and quality. We are seeking to hire an experienced Warehouse Co-Ordinator to complement our expanding global business in this FMCG sector, based at our Barlborough site. If you are enthusiastic, focused and ambitious with the desire to develop in a thriving business then this could be the role for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Unloading of vehicles/lorries at the goods in stage.
  • Loading of finished goods into vehicles/lorries at the dispatch stage.
  • Checking the condition of incoming packaging.
  • Checking inbound loads for signs of contamination.
  • Ensuring the correct quantities are on each delivery.
  • Booking goods into the automated warehouse system.
  • Producing and managing accurate documentation for inbound and outbound goods.
  • Picking the correct type and quantity of goods for dispatch from the Warehouse.
  • Arranging transport with logistics provider.
  • Stock control and reordering of components.
  • Waste management.
  • Adhering to and encouraging safe working practices at all times.
  • Any other reasonable request made by a Director/Manager of the organisation.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong awareness of Health and Safety requirements.
  • Awareness of quality and hygiene standards and their relevance in warehousing.
  • Ability to work unsupervised outside office hours in a responsible and safe manner in the company’s best interests.
  • Knowledge of automated warehousing systems.
  • Strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure in a calm and effective manner.
  • Organisational skills.
  • IT Skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to develop personal skills and abilities in line with the company’s route to progression.
  • Flexibility to provide additional cover for holidays, absence, training etc.
  • Be able to handle boxes of components and pallets up to 10kg in weight and in line with HSE guidelines on manual handling.
  • You will need to provide a copy of your FLT licence and have had it renewed in the last 2 years.
