Responsibilities include the design and execution of real-world studies, conducting statistical analyses, and communicating results to external stakeholders in the healthcare sector. Work on secondary analysis of patient registries and electronic health record (EHR) databases, as well as primary data generation such as prospective cohort studies and surveys. Lead project elements, deliver analyses for publications, value materials, health economic models, and health technology assessment submissions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, receive training, and progress to project management and client responsibility within 6-12 months.

Essential Requirements:

  • A degree or higher qualification in a relevant subject (minimum 2:1 or above)
  • Good understanding of epidemiological techniques and data analysis methods
  • Proficiency in statistical techniques sufficient to engage in technical discussions with statisticians
  • Ability to explain complex techniques and results to non-experts
  • Experience with R programming and willingness to rapidly develop advanced programming skills
  • Willingness to trial, explore, or recommend new software or techniques that may suit specific projects
  • High accuracy, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and customer service under competing demands
  • Excellent organisational skills and flexibility to respond to changing deadlines
