About the Role

Costello Medical, a global B Corp certified medical communications firm, is extending its External Engagement team.

The Marketing Coordinator will support campaign planning, content creation, and a range of projects that promote our services.

It is a varied, hands‑on role that involves collaboration across teams, event support, and ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the strategic planning and delivery of marketing campaigns and day‑to‑day marketing operations for Costello Medical.
  • Deliver digital content for Linked In, emailers, and other external channels, and schedule/manage communications through Hub Spot.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the company website via Word Press.
  • Help with business development initiatives and production of marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with in‑house Designers to brief, review and deliver engaging content and materials.
  • Analyse marketing metrics to assess impact and report on outcomes with clear insights and recommendations.
  • Support the organisation and delivery of client and company events (both virtual and in‑person), including occasional travel.
  • Provide general administrative support to the External Engagement team and, if required, the wider Operations department.

Qualifications

Essential requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, English or equivalent professional experience in a marketing‑related or business support role, ideally within a B2B or corporate environment.
  • Strong desire to grow strategic and business skills, and the ability to apply these within a structured marketing environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with key digital marketing tools and platforms (Linked In, Hub Spot, Word Press) and a strong interest in learning new systems and technologies.
  • Excellent written communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to review and improve own work.
  • Collaborative approach, confidence building relationships, and tailoring communication for different audiences.
  • Good general IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), and confidence working with data.

Desired requirements

  • Experience supporting marketing projects, campaigns or events.
  • Analytical skills and experience with paid media, PR, data dashboards, or CRM systems.
  • Interest in using technology or AI tools to improve efficiency and ways of working.

  • Starting salary of £26,250 per annum outside London (£28,860 per annum in London); higher for significant experience.
