This unique role offers you the opportunity to work collaboratively with us to design and conduct a global health‑related project relevant to your community. We will share our skills and knowledge in evidence‑based medicine, research design, and medical communication to support you in delivering the project to maximise its impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and conduct a global health‑related project relevant to your community.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to deliver the project and maximise its impact.
  • Communicate findings and implement project results back into local communities.

Qualifications:

  • National of a low‑ or middle‑income country working or studying in a health‑related profession (e.g., health practitioner, researcher, NGO worker).
  • Recently completed a Master’s degree at LSHTM.
  • Have an idea for a global health‑related project with a well‑considered approach and a plan to implement findings.
  • Educated in a health or science‑related subject.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and possess good numeracy skills.
  • Able to prioritise own tasks and workload.
  • Possess a can‑do attitude, initiative, positivity and creativity.
  • Capable of working in a team and maintaining high productivity.
  • Hold permission to work in the UK by the proposed start date and for the duration of the internship.
  • Have a developed project plan to execute during the internship period.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Annual salary of £28,860 (pro‑rated) for the duration of the internship.
