You will be involved in a wide range of digital design projects for our clients within the healthcare sector, from the initial concept development to full production, allowing for real autonomy and creativity.

Salary: £28,000 to £33,000 per annum outside of London (£28,860 to £33,000 per annum in London), depending on your previous experience.

Location: This role is available in our Global Headquarters in Cambridge, as well as our London, Manchester, Bristol, and Edinburgh offices.

As a Digital Designer in our Creative team, you will be at the forefront of delivering diverse and intricate digital projects for both our clients in the healthcare sector and the company. These will include the design, maintenance and testing of new and existing websites and web applications, the creation of interactive content for conferences and events, as well as the creation of digital marketing materials such as HTML emails, web banners and social media graphics.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing Digital Materials: Creating a variety of user-friendly deliverables, including websites and web applications, interactive content for external events, marketing materials, and other design pieces for both internal teams and external clients.
  • Strong Collaboration: Working closely with creative colleagues and project managers at the outset of projects to determine the design scope, purpose, and strategic approach to be taken.
  • Effective Communication: Clearly communicating project requirements to project teams and providing input on any technical queries.
  • Quality and Delivery: Ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
  • Exceptional Service: Providing outstanding customer service, building strong partnerships with internal teams and external clients.

About You: We are seeking a motivated individual who can contribute innovative ideas to enhance our digital design service offerings. You will have a great understanding of aesthetics and meticulous attention to detail. You will also take pride in delivering a consistently exceptional service to both clients and colleagues within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Essential requirements for the role are:

  • A degree-level or higher qualification in a design-related discipline (minimum 2.1 or equivalent), in addition to a highly innovative portfolio.
  • Some professional experience within an agency or commercial setting.
  • Technical knowledge of email/web/application development, including practical experience with HTML and CSS.
  • Experience applying UI/UX design principles across a wide range of digital deliverables.
  • Good working knowledge of Figma, or a strong desire to learn.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, an excellent level of productivity and the flexibility to respond to changing deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build robust and sustainable working relationships.

Desired requirements for the role are:

  • Practical understanding of Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
  • Search engine optimisation (SEO) and generative engine optimisation (GEO) experience.
  • Knowledge of omnichannel marketing and a flair for creative copywriting.
  • Familiarity with basic JavaScript.
