Role Summary

You will support with a wide range of digital projects for our clients within the healthcare sector, from initial concept development to full production, allowing for real autonomy and creativity.

Responsibilities:

  • Support with a wide range of digital projects, including the creation of interactive content for conferences and events.
  • Create digital marketing materials such as HTML emails, web banners, and social media graphics.
  • Design, maintain, and test new and existing websites and web applications.

We are looking for talented individuals with a great understanding of aesthetics and meticulous attention to detail. Collaborating with experienced members of our Creative team, you will receive comprehensive training and gain hands-on design experience in the healthcare sector.

Hybrid Working Policy:

Our interns can work from home 1 day per week. We believe that having face-to-face time in the office holds many benefits and is central to ensuring that the community we have created is never lost.

Career Prospects After the Internship:

There may also be the opportunity for strong interns to apply for the Digital Designer role and join the team on a permanent basis, depending on business need.

About You:

This internship is suited to recent graduates, as well as current students who can complete full-time internships over the holidays or via a placement as part of their degree.

Essential requirements for the role are:

  • A degree-level or higher qualification in a design-related discipline (minimum or expected 2.1), in addition to a highly innovative portfolio.
  • Experience applying UI/UX design principles across a wide range of digital deliverables.
  • Basic technical knowledge of email/web/application development.
  • Working knowledge of Figma (or a strong desire to learn), Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
  • A strong understanding of aesthetics and meticulous attention to detail.
  • A problem-solving mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to take initiative and work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage conflicting deadlines.

Desired requirements for the role are:

  • Familiarity with other software in the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Practical experience with HTML and CSS, as well as familiarity with digital marketing.
  • Knowledge of omnichannel marketing and a flair for creative copywriting.
  • A keen interest in applying digital design to the healthcare sector.

What We Offer:

At Costello Medical, we are committed to fair and competitive pay. The salary on offer is:

  • £26,250 per annum for colleagues based in office locations outside London.
  • £28,860 per annum for colleagues based in the London office.
