Assigned Duties

  • Perform maintenance duties, including electrical, plumbing, drywall, appliance repairs, improvements, and other maintenance tasks.
  • Prepare units for rent when they are vacated.
  • Complete sidewalk snow removal for 2” or less.
  • Maintain grounds by picking up trash, servicing trash receptacles, and pulling weeds weekly.
  • Inspect grounds and tenant units with Site Managers and/or Regional Managers.
  • Provide efficient customer service to residents.

Position Summary

The Maintenance & Grounds Technician assists the Site Manager in performing all duties and functions required for the efficient operation of apartment and townhome communities. The Technician maintains the interior and exterior of these communities and ensures the proper operation of all appliances, heating and cooling units, and light fixtures.

Requirements

  • Must have hand tools to use on the job site.
  • Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week.
  • Must be available to handle after‑hours emergency calls.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.
  • Willingness to use vehicle to drive between properties and to get supplies.

Salary: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour
