The Audiologist will be responsible for providing Diagnostic Audiology and rehabilitation services to Consultant ENT surgeons, GP's, Hospitals, Law Firms and the general public. The duties will include:
- Checking hearing, including sound level and frequency range.
- Diagnosing and designing a rehabilitation plan involving an assessment for patients who are suitable for cochlear implants or bone anchored hearing aids.
- Fitting hearing aids and making modifications to ear moulds.
- Giving patients information and advice on how to manage their condition.
- Ensuring daily maintenance of test equipment and arranging calibration as and when required.
To be suitable for the Audiologist role you will:
- Hold a BSc degree in healthcare science – audiology
- Be registered with the HCPC
- Be service oriented – experienced in ‘going the extra mile'
- Be energetic and familiar with working in a fast-paced environment
