We are currently looking for a full time Audiologist for our Gloucester Warehouse. The Audiologist will be responsible for providing Diagnostic Audiology and rehabilitation services to Consultant ENT surgeons, GP’s, Hospitals, Law Firms and the general public. The duties will include:
- Checking hearing, including sound level and frequency range.
- Diagnosing and designing a rehabilitation plan involving an assessment for patients who are suitable for cochlear implants or bone anchored hearing aids.
- Fitting hearing aids and making modifications to ear moulds.
- Giving patients information and advice on how to manage their condition.
- Ensuring daily maintenance of test equipment and arranging calibration as and when required.
To be suitable for the Audiologist role you will:
- Hold a BSc degree in healthcare science – audiology
- Be registered with the HCPC
- Be service oriented – experienced in ‘going the extra mile’
- Energetic and familiar with working in a fast-paced environment
