As an Account Manager, you will sell LoopNet subscriptions and online advertising products to a broad client base ranging from small independent agents to large global property owners, fund managers and real‑estate investment trusts. You will focus on new business, grow revenue from accounts already won, and maintain responsibility for a limited number of existing accounts from day one.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, nurture and grow the existing client base with a high level of integrity.
- Take an entrepreneurial approach to selling, training and retention.
- Use a consultative sales approach to understand clients’ needs and become an expert in LoopNet marketing solutions.
- Own the full sales cycle – prospecting, demonstrating, closing, onboarding, training and renewing accounts.
- Conduct in‑person product demonstrations for clients and prospects.
- Provide valuable insights to decision‑makers across the commercial property market.
- Represent CoStar Group at industry events and network with property professionals.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of maintaining and growing clients over medium and long‑term cycles (3–12+ months).
- Excellent communication, presentation and objection‑handling skills.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work to metrics effectively.
- Degree level education or equivalent experience.
- Consultative selling style with account‑management techniques.
- Relationship‑building mindset and problem‑solving focus.
- Knowledge of commercial real estate or asset management is an advantage.
- Desire to learn and a genuine interest in market trends.
- Experience with property portals or marketplaces is advantageous.
- Ability to navigate large organisations and identify decision‑makers.
Driving Licence:
Candidates must possess a current and valid driver’s licence and pass a satisfactory driving record check before starting.
