Working for and on behalf of bp, we will be at the leading edge of the UK's net zero transition. We are currently looking for a Project Manager to lead and act as a key point of contact for the client. Currently, the H2T project is in FEED and this role is to successfully complete the FEED, ensuring a high-quality class II estimate is submitted to the client's requirements. Once complete, the H2T project manager will lead the project through the transitional workstreams up to the award of the EPCM contract. Once in the execute phase, the H2T project manager will take a leading role in delivering the EPCM contract.
The role will be based in the Wilton centre (Teesside) with regular visits to Manchester where the Costain Engineering team are based.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring of engineering progress and supporting and enabling the team to deliver in line with the baseline schedule and budget.
- Checking accuracy of weekly and monthly reporting and presenting to the Client.
- Resolution of issues.
- Management of change as requirements change.
- Chairing risk workshops and maintaining the risk register.
- Oversight of Principal Designers responsibilities.
- Oversight of the procurement and implementation of surveys and the River Tees crossing preliminary design.
- Overall responsibility for ensuring a high-quality class II estimate and schedule is delivered on time.
Qualifications:
- Has fulfilled the role of Project manager.
- Experience of working on an Oil and Gas FEED and EPCM.
- Proven team-working skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
- Management of change, technical, cost and schedule.
- Managing Risk.
- Experience of procuring sub-contractors.
- Understanding of duties under CDM Regulations (2015).
