Responsibilities
The Preservation and Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing the preservation and maintenance processes, including:
- Managing contractors to ensure quality delivery of preservation and maintenance services.
- Overseeing preservation and operational maintenance activities throughout the asset\’s lifecycle until project handover.
- Ensuring suppliers and project teams understand the Project Preservation Process and expectations.
- Organizing maintenance work order audits on behalf of the client, including compliance checks of preservation practices.
- Identifying new assets arriving on site and developing corresponding maintenance activities.
- Liaising with the client to establish asset management requirements.
- Ensuring traceability and delivery of process information.
- Managing preservation and maintenance records within the AMS database.
- Carrying out activities in accordance with OP-852 procedures, AWE documentation, and license conditions.
- Producing and maintaining records to demonstrate compliance with quality, performance, standards, and legislation.
- Providing preservation status reports to construction and commissioning managers.
- Tracking and forecasting documentation progress and quality.
- Providing monthly performance and trend reports.
- Acting as a subject matter expert to support strategic goals.
Qualifications and Skills
- Extensive experience in preservation and maintenance of large facilities in a project environment.
- Deep knowledge of maintenance strategies and processes.
- Proven track record in complex project delivery, preferably in the defense sector or similar technical fields.
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience in engineering.
- Security clearance: current SC or DV clearance, or willingness to obtain.
