CMDP+ is looking to strengthen their team with a Senior Site Manager for our Southern Water Framework. MWH Treatment and Costain Group are part of the CMDP+ joint venture that will deliver a range of construction schemes to maintain and improve Southern Water's water supply and wastewater treatment works within the South and Southeast regions.
The Joint Venture has been set up specifically to execute the 5-year (2025 - 2030) AMP8 capital delivery framework. We will be delivering a programme of works up to 1bn over the 5-year period consisting of both heavy civil engineering and mechanical and electrical activities.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Develop scheme Health, Safety and Environmental Management Plan (HASEMP)
- Ensure all works are undertaken with due regard to the needs of the local population within the immediate vicinity of the works and the travelling public as a whole
- Manage, supervise and mentor the site team as appropriate and ensure only adequately trained and experienced operatives are engaged on site to deliver the scheme
- Adopt, maintain and promote cost conscious management through efficient use of all resources
- Ensure method statements and risk assessments are prepared, reviewed, briefed and updated
- Ensure realistic scheme programmes are prepared, reviewed and updated
- Deliver site inductions and regular tool box talk briefings to all site personnel
- Ensure all plant and equipment used is fit for purpose, only operated by suitably trained personnel and regularly inspected
- Ensure all "as constructed" records are provided to the CDMC for inclusion within the Health and Safety File in a timely manner following scheme completion
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Essential
- Proven site management experience in a Water, Wastewater or similar environment
- Recognised Civil Engineering/Site Management Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Management
- Understanding of Engineering Principles

- CSCS Site Managers Card (minimum)
- Minimum of SMSTS
- First aid at work
- Health, Safety and Environmental Management (IOSH or Construction Managers Safety Certificate)
- Valid Driving License
