Job Description
Our Early Careers strategy is designed to grow and evolve using an array of opportunities such as T Levels, apprentices, interns and graduates to attract, develop and retain the technical, professional and leadership skills our business needs. You'll help shape how we deliver these outcomes - gaining strong exposure across programme delivery, learning, stakeholder engagement and of course through recruitment.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities

    • Support Early Careers programme delivery across apprenticeships, internships and graduate pathways - ensuring high-quality participant and stakeholder experience
    • Coordinate mandatory technical training, including maintaining accurate data and supporting learning management systems activity
    • Contribute to pipeline and alumni management helping track participant progress and supporting long term talent outcomes
    • Assist with assessment, selection and onboarding activities, working with line managers and internal teams to meet resourcing needs
    • Drive Community engagement and talent attraction activity to strengthen our presence with schools, colleges and universities and external partners
    • Maintain accurate reporting and coordinate team activities relating to programme activities and apprenticeship training supporting quality improvement in provider communications and supporting line manager engagement.
    • Work with external providers and professional institutes, ensuring programmes meet the right frameworks and expectations
    • Support continuous improvement across the function using feedback and data to enhance processes and maximise efficiencies


Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Essential

  • Clear and confident communication, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders appropriately
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach - strong engagement, problem solving mindset, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion and diplomacy
  • Strong organisation and Time Management, able to manage multiple programmes and competing priorities with tight deadlines
  • Experience using IT tools (including Word, Excel, Outlook) and confidence working with programme data translating complexity into clear insights, Quick Learner with curiosity and drive to build capability in Early Careers
  • Great Team Working behaviours - Collaborative, Supportive, and confident communicating across functions with the business
  • Shows Initiative - Takes ownership, identifies opportunities to improve and follows through
  • Flexible and adaptable - comfortable working across multiple programmes and changing priorities
  • Customer-focused mindset - Care for both participants and stakeholders, delivering consistently high standards
  • Understanding of the Early Careers Landscape and or professional development pathways and funding routes.


Desirable

  • Early Careers exposure is preferred but not essential - this role is also ideal for candidates who are relatively new and keen to build their experience in this field quickly
  • Administration capability, including reporting and experience supporting learning/HR Systems (LMS exposure is a plus)
  • Familiarity with Apprenticeship processes and legislation, including Digital Apprenticeship Account management.
    Experience in recruitment and development of Early Careers participants i.e. T Levels, Apprenticeships, Graduate Programmes and Interns)
