We have a fantastic opportunity for a Construction Manager to join our project in the Southwest where we are a delivery partner on a key infrastructure project. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in one of the most complex and challenging projects in the UK today where you will be responsible for leading a multi-discipline team, coordinating with other functions to safely execute the site installation works. This position will be a year FTC working on site in Plymouth. Candidates must be able to obtain Security Clearance in order to be considered.
Night Shift Patterns: This role consists of a rotation of four on, four off night shift patterns. Nightshift: 15:00pm - 03:00am
Responsibilities:- Author the construction management process
- Author the construction management strategy for the project
- Form construction delivery team
- Develop and mentor construction delivery team
- Integrate wider business strategy across multiple programmes
- Champion safety culture and introduction of construction site rules
- Write and complete SQEP assessments for construction roles
- Interface with wider construction delivery teams
- Feed into project programmes, design reviews and contract scope documents
- Manage a portfolio of project programmes and support stakeholders to deliver
- Management of project interfaces with all contractors and facility stakeholders
- Management of project interfaces with other client operations
- Significant experience delivering construction projects in a regulated environment
- Delivered large scale construction projects
- Lead multi-disciplined teams to safely execute site installation works
- Excellent awareness of CDM, construction practices and health and safety legislation
- Ability to chair and control stakeholder and supplier meetings at a senior level
- OND, HND, Degree or equivalent, working for membership of a recognised construction-related professional body or equivalent site experience
- CITB Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
